Celebrate Thanksgiving in Santa Monica!

Many popular restaurants that serve Santa Monica breakfast and premium Santa Monica coffee’s favorite holidays this year, there is no need to fret! There are a multitude of events all over Los Angeles that you can attend and will be closed on Thanksgiving Day. However, if you won’t be able to join your family for one of America’s favorite holidays, there is no need to fret. Come on over to one of these Santa Monica/Los Angeles events this Thursday that’ll guarantee you a good time!

Thanksgiving Turkey To-Go on Wilshire Blvd (8 AM – 2 PM)

For $395 per ticket, you will be able to get a meal for 8 people. The courses include:

Salad

• Red endive, arugula, grilled pears, point reyes blue cheese, herb croutons, sherry mustard dressing

Entrée

• Whole slow-roasted free range Turkey, thyme butter
• Turkey and giblet gravy
• House-made spiced cranberry compote with orange
• Sage and apple stuffing
• Sweet potato puree with crème fraiche & chives
• Roasted Brussels sprouts, brown butter, pomegranate, chestnuts, sherry vinegar
• Sautéed green beans, garlic confit, cured bacon

Dessert

• Pumpkin Pie, maple, crème Chantilly

Thanksgiving Dinner at Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel (1-7 PM)

Executive Chef Chris O’Connell invites you to Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel to celebrate Thanksgiving with a festive dinner at Blue Streak Restaurant. Be sure to reserve in advance. Reservations may be canceled within 24 hours with no fee. No shows or late cancellations will be charged a $25 fee. That would be a bummer, because you could get several cups of the best coffee in Santa Monica with that much money!

Prices:

• $95 per adult
• $35 per child (Age 0-10)
• $16 for event parking with validation

Ice at Santa Monica (12 PM to 10 PM)

Third Street Promenade and Downtown Santa Monica become an engaging experience for the whole family during Winter Lit, Santa Monica’s Christmas festival. The Third Street Promenade, 2nd and 4th Streets will be decorated with tens of thousands of multicolored lights, ornaments, and garland, illuminating easy shopping and joyous outdoor dining opportunities.

Friendsgiving Picnic at Burton Chace Park (12 to 3 PM)

Bring your favorite Thanksgiving dishes to this free event in Marina Del Rey. Come by yourself or bring some friends; everyone is welcome in this group. Everyone will have plenty of opportunities to play outdoor and social games and get to know one another. 

7th Annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner at San Julian Park, 312 East 5th Street (9 AM – 3 PM)

Want to help the less fortunate? During the holiday season, volunteer to feed those in need. This year, the theme is soul food. The holiday feast will be grab-and-go style.
